City Background and History
The fifth largest city in the state of New Mexico is Roswell. Though its population is only 50,000, it is a city known by most throughout the country. Regardless of the veracity of the UFO claims, the city of Roswell has embraced the phenomenon wholeheartedly, and, today, the area could be considered the UFO capital of the world. Numerous UFO-themed conventions and symposiums, as well as many UFO-themed shops, restaurants, and events that take place here year round.
