Expedited Shipping

National Car Transport uses both open car carriers and climate-controlled enclosed trucks to haul consumer vehicles. The company offers an expedited service, called the 911 service, under which it guarantees that a customer’s car will be picked up within 24 to 48 hours of the order being placed. Not surprisingly, they charge between $150 and $200 extra for the expedited service.

Like most car carriers these days, NCT allows customers to obtain free quotes online. However, they have to call its toll-free number to actually make transportation arrangements. The company accepts all major credit cards for the initial deposit, but only accept cash or a cashier’s check upon delivery of the vehicle. NCT does not guarantee its shipping times, but claims it is able to ship a car from coast to coast in 10 days or less, and over shorter distances in under five days.
